If you’ve been around me any length of time you know I’m up for any kind of adventure…not thrill…adventure. These are two different words which mean two entirely different things! This is one reason I love my friends…because for the most part they are up for adventure too. If you have been following my blog for any amount of time you might remember this post “sixty hours in north carolina”. This past fall I was up in North Carolina for the weekend visiting a friend. Well February is when she comes down every year to judge my students piano competition. So once the competition is behind us we are always out and about for adventure. We quickly scratched off “I have to have an 11″ shrimp po-boy” … off of the list. Next on the list was “hit up all of the thrift stores and junk stores”… then we had to go some place new we hadn’t been to when she has been down. We decided on Sunday afternoon to head over to the coast since she had never been to the Gulf…now she can check that off of her bucket list! We had a blast…as always!
