{behind the scenes of a photo session}
There is a lot that goes into a session outside of the time
I see my client and interact with them face to face.
That time with my client is my favorite part…ever!
Why? I love people and I would much rather be around
other people talking, laughing and having a good time.
I don’t want to be behind the {mac-book pro} replying
to emails, editing, backing up images, replying to
more emails, loading images, returning phone calls,
making CD’s, mailing CD’s, replying to even more
emails, texting clients back, designing, scheduling the next session,
looking at my calendar months in advance -having no clue
what will actually be going on then- yet scheduling weddings,
keeping up with the latest on facebook [just to keep my sanity some days!]
updating the world via twitter…all of that can be lonely and can
bog you down…but it’s part of the job and honestly I
love every minute and second of it…even the part that can bog you down.
I just would rather be at Starbucks or Berry Tart meeting
a bride-to-be…or out in a fun location with a senior capturing
who they are…that’s me…that’s who I am!!!
…All of that to say…
Thanks to my assistant Maggie…here are a couple of shots she gave me…
yeh I’m working hard but loving every minute of it because I’m
with someone and doing something I love.
