A week ago Saturday I held a Mandeville Photography Class in downtown Covington!  This group of teen girls were our modeling group to learn how to pose a group along with choosing the best locations for natural light using natural reflectors.  This whole session was primarily done without using any reflectors or other form of lighting.  It was all used by choosing our location based off of seeing and finding a natural reflector.  I taught the ladies how to use a reflector for some of these girls head shots by simply bouncing light and using the reflector for fill light.

Hands on workshops are the BEST!  I told the workshop attendees I wanted them to walk away from the day knowing how to use the reflectors and get the same outcome on their own.  There is nothing worse than attending a workshop where it is ALL set up for you and you walk away with b-e-a-u-t-i-f-u-l images to show off, but then you get on your own and you have no clue how to get a beautiful result.  These ladies rocked this workshop and the three sessions we had!!!!!
