I love love love this sweet family. Heather and I met through social media. She is also a photographer who is on “sabbatical”!!!! She moved from out of state to Louisiana in the past months and decided with the season of life her young family is in that it would be a good opportunity to take a break. Yet I loved the way we connected immediately…and yet immediately she knew by seeing my work we were a good match.
I think one of my favorite things about photography is being able to shoot a session for another photographer and their family. I know they value the work, the effort, the time and the energy…and seeing them love their own family pictures and not having to set a self timer is so worth it for me. Many ask if it makes me nervous…nope, in no way does it, they are clients just as anyone else and in fact I feel like sometimes they are easier! I feel no pressure, they came to me because they love what they have seen and they are confident in their decision, which gives me confidence to be who I am as well.
These kiddos- oh my word are naturals. NOT because their mama is a photographer but their smiles, their demeanor, their fun and laughs! I loved every second with this family, even though it was freezing for most of the session and we had to find walls to block the wind or sunshine to stand in, we had a blast!!!
Thanks Neely family for such a great session!
