I sit down and honestly I’ve had writers block for a minute…it’s been so long since I have taken the time to sit and actually write on my blog…All I would like to say is Happy ::2012::. Yet I want to write more…bear with me here…
Yesterday I set a little time aside to reflect back on 2011, spend time in God’s word and set some goals for 2012…a few things that I thought back on for 2011…
the goals I met made me happy but there were some I failed
the new friends I’ve met
the good times and hard times
the places I’ve been
the doors God has opened as well as the doors He has closed
the happy times and sad
the mountain tops and the valleys
the laughs and the cries
I am sure there is more but through it all I can truly say that “My Redeemer is Faithful and True.” The Lord has been there for me…his guidance, faithfulness, love, mercy and grace and all of which I am undeserving.
2011 seemed like it had a theme verse for me in my life and that is, Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus. The Lord used that verse in my life time and time again this past year, and I’m thankful.
The very first verse I wrote at the top of my goals list for the coming year is, Luke 1:49 For he that is mighty hath done to me great things; and holy is his name.
I’m thankful to know that no matter what 2012 will hold, I know and can say that My Redeemer is Faithful and True. I have some goals written down and not all may come to pass but my one main goal is to have more of Christ in my life and less of me in the coming year!
I will leave you with what I think is one of my absolute favorite images that I photographed from 2011: San Francisco Bay Bridge
