It has been a very long time since I have written a personal blog post.
Life has never been as busy as these past few months have been.
I could say it’s been crazy but that would be a major understatement.
I actually think it would be an insult to the word crazy!
I honestly don’t know where the time has gone…
All I know is that I am enjoying taking a few days to “breathe”.
I love Christmas time.
Why?
I love…
celebrating Jesus’ birth.
spending time with my family.
giving gifts.
family traditions.
decorating our house.
sending Christmas cards.
receiving Christmas cards. (ps they are better with a picture!!!)
baking and cooking.
relaxing.
watching Elf.
seeing my nieces and nephews open presents.
decorating gingerbread houses.
going caroling.
Christmas music.
priceless memories.
driving around looking at Christmas lights.
reading the Bible Story.
What are some of your favorite things to do at Christmas?
As I sit in my bed, in my warm house, in my comfy pajamas,
with no needs or wants, I am amazed at what the Lord has done
for me this past year. I hope you and your family can say the same!
May you reflect on the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ, who was born to die.
But after his death on the cross he rose again the third day so that we
could have life…eternal life with Him.
