Sedgebeer [family.life]

If you have been following me for any amount of time, you may remember at the beginning of this year I had a contest on my photography facebook fan page. Remember? If you were a client of mine last year you were in on this contest…who ever got the most “likes” on their image in the contest won $100 towards their session in 2011. The contest got heated…it was quite fun and well entertaining at the same time…it was super duper close between two clients…up until the last few minutes of the contest I wasn’t sure who was going to win…after pulling all their family and friends in on the contest the Sedgebeer Family won! They were thrilled beyond words because they were expecting their new addition Caden and wanted to wait and use their credit when he arrived.

Since their session was at the end of June down here in South Louisiana- to say it was hot would be an insult. If you’re not from down here or have never visited during this “summer season” you have no clue what we are talking about! You walk outside for 30 seconds and you are starting to get drenched and feel nasty! So we decided that we still wanted outside pictures of the family and kids…so we had to pick a location that we could go inside cool off and come back out…it’s like a rotation affect! I stayed out m.o.s.t. of the time but it’s ok for me to look gross just not my clients! Since the Sedgebeer family is related to the Patton’s we were graciously offered or rather allowed to use the Salmen Fritchie House or rather now the Patton’s Reception Home. It was a lifesaver on top of being beautiful and perfect!!
