Slidell Photography Class | Workshop
A cold January Saturday, yet we all survived, somehow…someway!
It was a grand time of meeting these 9 photography workshop attendees…yet it was even more of an honor to be able to teach them and see them learn and grasp new concepts. I love teaching but when I have a group that is engaged and full of questions and a desire to learn, I could go on and on all day teaching them. Some came from Thibodeaux, Slidell, New Orleans, Metairie and Covington, while we all met at Sunrise on Second in Slidell for a grand day of learning about all things photography!
We started the day with getting to know each other and seeing who had a Canon or a Nikon…as always it’s about half and half! We jumped right into learning about ISO, Aperture and Shutter Speed and how they all function together to have a well exposed image. We covered composition, lots of Q&A time, lots of hands on projects shooting in indoor lighting as well as outdoors. We ended the day with a lovely senior modeling for us and giving everyone an opportunity to put into action the things they had learned…I was quite pleased with their outcome and what they captured of our model!
