Last weekend was a great day…although it was a nasty, gloomy, rainy day…it was a great day! Sounds weird…huh? Well it’s because I had 11 amazing ladies from Biloxi to Henleyfield, to Mandeville to Metairie…at my house all day and we talked all things photography! I taught them the functions of their camera…the ins-and-outs of shooting manual and how ISO, aperture and shutter speed make for a good exposure! We talked about basic composition and basic editing, tons of hands on (as you can see in the images below) and the list could go on and on! I always love teaching, it’s a passion of mine…but seeing these “students” truly walk away having learned and in awe…it’s so satisfying and rewarding. It was just a great day! To top it off we had some amazing food (for the record coconut macaroons are the BEST!)…coffee and izze always tops off the day along with homemade cookies!
A huge shout-out to our amazing model! Even though it was raining for our outdoor hands on session we still made the best of it and our model rocked her session! By the time she was finished modeling for us she came to the conclusion she should make business cards and start passing them out! This girl is a hoot!
