This past Saturday morning I had the privilege of having a six month session with William and having his cousin as well as Mom and Dad join in some of the pictures! It was a gorgeous morning in New Orleans…by gorgeous I mean perfect weather, blue skies, sun shine, low humidity…well low for down here and just simply a gorgeous day. We were so blessed because for three solid days before we had rain and when I say rain I mean l.o.t.s. of rain!
Many times I get asked what is my favorite age to photograph “babies”. I have come to love six months…they are sitting up, usually on all fours beginning to scoot in one direction or the other, smiling from ear to ear, they have the cutest facial expressions, no care in the world unless they are sleepy or hungry and not to forget they are beautiful!!! William is all of the above so for me his session was a pure joy!
We had a good time trying to convince his two year old cousin to love him and take pictures with him! We were able to sneak in a couple so we are thankful for the few we did get!!! I had to share some of the “un-happy” moments of the session. I think too many times as photographers we want to capture the “perfect” moment and only show those moments…well a session isn’t always perfect! Sometimes they get tired…over stimulated and really not to sure about a black box in front of their face with about 3 people behind the black box acting crazy just to get them to be happy and smile!!!!
p.s. mom gets an A++++++++ for adorable outfits and coordinating everyone!!!!
